The Film is Fabulous! team has announced its second event. The Missing Episodes Festival takes place on Saturday, 1st June 2024, at The Courtyard Cinema in Hereford and will present four black and white episodes of British television, previously thought to have been lost. These will be followed by a discussion with special guests about the preservation of vulnerable film treasures.
The programmes recovered are an episode of Sykes, starring Eric Sykes and Hattie Jacques; Mogul, a high-stakes BBC drama featuring Robert Hardy, Geoffrey Keen, Ray Barrett, and Justine Lord; Tom Jones! – Work, a music programme hosted by Tom Jones and with Maxine Brown as guest; and an episode of The Basil Brush Show with Derek Fowlds.
