2025 Update – Dealer Rooms now fully booked!

With four months to go, plans are well underway for the 2025 Blackpool Film Collectors’ Convention which takes place on 14th – 16th November. Once again, we are having two dealer rooms for the Sunday Film Fair and we are pleased to announce that as of July both rooms are now fully booked. If you wanted to sell films at the Convention, we are operating a waiting list in case of cancellations; to be added, get in touch via the ‘Dealer Info’ page.

Don’t forget that we operate a Bring and Buy Stall and Auction during the Sunday Film Fair – entry fees are £1 per item.

The Friday night feature will once again be projected by Nigel Lister on 35mm and promises to be an excellent show. In addition to the usual 16mm and Super 8, Nigel will also be able to project 35mm during Saturday’s all-day Cinema, so if you have any spooled 35mm shorts you’d like Nigel to screen, feel free to bring them along.

We understand that bookings for the Grand Hotel are really starting to ramp up. Remember that there are only a limited number of rooms available at the special Convention rate, so don’t leave it until the last minute: find out how to book at the Visit Us page.

We’ll be updating the site in the coming weeks with information about the Saturday Night Dinner, and more information about the whole weekend, so keep an eye out for updates, either here or on our Facebook page.

Finally, Lee Mannering has kindly shared Super 8 footage of the 1990 Blackpool Convention that was included in his Cinema In Miniature documentary. You can see the clip, which is in 4K resolution, on our Youtube channel.
