Book your seat at the 2025 Film Collectors’ Dinner

We’ve updated the Visit page with information about booking the 2025 Film Collectors’ Dinner which takes place on Saturday 15th November 2025 in the Grand Hotel.

First introduced 40 years ago this year by Derann Film Services, the Film Collectors’ Dinner has become an integral part of the Convention. In addition to a sumptuous three-course meal with tea and coffee, the (in)famous film quiz takes place between courses, and a raffle is held after the dinner with feature films on both Super 8 and 16mm among the many generous prizes. The evening rounds off with a film show, this year curated by Colin Tolman.

You must pre-book the Film Collectors’ Dinner if you want to attend. The price is £30 per person. For those staying at the hotel on a dinner, bed and breakfast package, you can transfer your Saturday dinner to the Film Collectors’ Dinner at no extra charge. You must, however, let us know this in advance.
