A big thank you to ALL concerned for an absolutely first class event, it couldn’t have been better. I shall definitely be coming again in 2025.

Just a little message to all of you to say thank you so much for last weekend. It was absolutely fabulous and a total success. Well done.
In the last three years it has just got better and better. I particularly enjoy noticing the subtle changes. For example, using “Blackpool Convention” stickers on entry instead of the previous coloured dots. Only a small thing but a sign of attention to detail and professionalism. There were other noticeable improvements too. The auction ran much smoother this year, for example.
Once again, well done and thank you to everyone on the committee (if that is the right description). A sterling job done and roll on November 2025.

Thoroughly enjoyed Blackpool yet again!! The organisers did a great job putting on an extravaganza of all things cine. At the dinner I sat next to Oliver from Berlin, great conversation during the evening, it really is becoming an international event
There was more films and equipment for sale than I have seen for years. I am waiting for an oportune moment to sneak my purchases in before the wife sees it!!
Great film shows all day and most of all the meeting up and chatting with friends.

At the time of writing, we have just returned from Blackpool. What an event it was. We had film shows, over several days, discussions, and a great evening meal on Saturday night.
What a fabulous event this is!
If you have never been to this event – sell the wife and kids and come join us from November 15th 2024. You will not regret it.

Well, what a cracking weekend I’ve had at Blackpool! Forgetting the nightmare of actually getting there due to virtually all trains heading North being cancelled, let’s quickly move through to Saturday evening and my video interview with Joachim Schmidt. A great couple of hours!
Sunday morning and the queue waiting to enter the dealers hall was the longest I’ve seen since I began my regular visits. I would like to thank the hard working organisers Simon McConway, Mark Norton, Jeremy Norman, Adrian Winchester, (his interview questions are always so damn good), John Armer and David Watson. Congratulations on a sterling job!! I would now like to apologise to all those visitors who I never had chance to talk with, I was so busy.
