There are two rooms packed with dealers selling films on Super 8, 16mm and 35mm; projectors; accessories; DVDs and Blu-rays; film memorabilia, etc.
Film Shows
Celebrating 60 years of Super 8, our morning and afternoon film shows will be on Super 8, and will include recent releases. The Film Shows are held in the Trafalgar Suite – timings will be published in the Film Fair programme.
Missing Episodes at Blackpool
New for 2025, we are hosting Missing Episodes at Blackpool – a Film is Fabulous! digital presentation of lost and recently recovered film prints of TV programmes. This takes place at 2.30pm in the Lancaster Suite.
Q&A with Phil Sheard
Convention co-organiser Adrian Winchester questions Phil Sheard of Classic Home Cinema. Adrian will also give you the opportunity to put your questions to Phil.
Auction and Bring & Buy stall
The Film Fair is the perfect opportunity to sell unwanted items via our Auction (films only) and Bring & Buy stall (films and film equipment). In both cases the fees charged are only £1 per item.
The Auction takes place in the afternoon and items should be submitted via the Bring & Buy stall; entry forms are available throughout the weekend. Please give a true and honest description of the films you are selling.
Opening Times & Admission Price
The Film Fair is open 10am – 6pm and entry is £6, payable in cash on the door. Food and refreshments are available from the hotel and there’s a comfortable seating area in the hotel foyer that makes it a perfect place to catch up with friends and show off your purchases.
